Sales Tax Expert

The Role

Logistis for Designers needs someone passionate and FOCUSED on one thing, SALE TAX!  Sales Tax Expert will learn, research communicate laws, and file sales tax for all US states. Our team of accountants will rely on you to give them the most up-to-date info as it pertains to our clients.  Our team of accountants will then provide you with the numbers you need to file the taxes. Research and learn the software to assist with the job. Limited on-the-job training and direction will be provided with our current practice. We are looking to find someone who can show up (virtually), be present, and positively contribute to the culture of our company. We want people on the team who are eager to grow with us!

  • Ability to communicate effectively with the team about different sales tax rule
  • Ability to draft articles about sales tax

About You

  • B.S. or M.S. in Accounting or equivalent
  • 4+ years of accounting experience required
  • 1+ year sale tax experience
  • 4+ years of QBO experience preferred but not required
  • A love of problem-solving and making teams and processes more efficient
  • Wonderful in providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both clients and teammates
  • Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to write professional emails and jump on Zoom calls with clients
  • Knowledge of accounting principles/practices

The Role

The Onboarding Specialist team is at the center of Logistis for Designers — working with team and clients to coordinate the best possible path towards client success within the parameters of our company’s vision. Onboarding Specialists are the first people new customers interact with, so it’s on us to make a great first impression (conveying efficiency, expertise, and being worthy of our customer’s trust!) while collecting sensitive financial data so that we can set up customers in our automated bookkeeping systems. We are looking to find someone who can show up (virtually), be present, and positively contribute to the culture of our company. We want people on the team who are eager to grow with us!

About You
